Vikrant Massey’s name has now been included in the list of Bollywood’s best actors. The actor has proved his acting prowess in many great films like 12th Fail and Sector 36 among others. While he shocked everyone by announcing retirement, there is an interesting update about him. As per reports, Vikrant Massey is all set to star in Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 as a villain.
Ranveer Singh and Vikrant Massey in Don 3?
A source close to Don 3 informed Filmfare that Vikrant has been confirmed for the crime thriller also starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani. The source revealed, “Vikrant is playing the villain in Don 3.”
According to an earlier report by India Today, a source shared, “Vikrant, who gave his career-best so far with 12th Fail, has been approached for the role of the main antagonist in Don 3. The film will position Vikrant as the main villain opposite Ranveer Singh. While the prospect is exciting, Vikrant is yet to sign the offer.” To note, this outing with be Vikrant and Ranveer’s second collaboration after Lootera.
Meanwhile, the actor recently announced retirement from work after The Sabarmati Report and left everyone baffled. After fans expressed concern, he clarified that he is just taking a break and will be back soon.

Talking about his future plans, Vikrant expressed his desire to don the director and producer’s hat. “There is one film I am doing next year and my entire focus is on that film. I am doing the film as an actor by the end of next year. I also want to direct and produce but it’s not the right time to talk about it publicly.”
On the work front, Vikrant is working on two films – Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. As per reports, Shanaya Kapoor will make her Bollywood debut with him in the latter film. The flicks will release in 2025.
